U.S. 10-YEAR YIELD TOPS 4.75%, HIGHEST SINCE 2025
The U.S. 10-year Treasury yield climbed above 4.75%, its highest since January 2025, as surging oil prices boosted expectations for Fed rate hikes.
Oil gained more than 3% after President Trump threatened further attacks on Iran, adding to inflation concerns.
The 30-year yield approached 5.26%, while Friday’s hawkish comments from Fed Chair Kevin Warsh continue to pressure Treasuries.
