THE FOMC VOTED 9-3 TO HOLD THE FEDERAL FUNDS RATE AT 3.5%-3.75%, WITH DALLAS FED'S LOGAN, CLEVELAND'S HAMMACK AND MINNEAPOLIS'S KASHKARI DISSENTING IN FAVOR OF A QUARTER-POINT HIKE, WHILE CHAIRMAN KEVIN WARSH INSISTED THE HOLD WAS NOT A SIGN OF INERTIA AND REITERATED THE FED'S COMMITMENT TO TACKLING INFLATION.
