CENTCOM STATES THAT THE STRAIT OF HORMUZ IS OPEN FOR INTERNATIONAL TRAFFIC, AND WHOLESOME VESSEL NAVIGATION IS SUPPORTED BY U.S. MILITARY. SINCE MAY, ABOUT 1,000 SHIPS AND 500 MILLION BARRELS OF OIL HAVE BEEN ASSISTED BY CENTCOM FORCES IN THE STRAIT.
